About American Care
American Care, Inc. was founded and began operations in November of 1996. American Care is a physician-led organization. Today, American Care has grown its provider base and service areas covering all of Florida’s major metropolitan areas. American Care became the State of Florida’s first authorized Health Flex Plan. All medical centers operated by the company are owned by American Care. The American Care management team is comprised of seasoned professionals with over a century of collective experience in providing expert assistance and health care services.
By having each of our providers undergo thorough screening, credentialing, re-credentialing, training, and quality assurance reviews to ascertain the quality of our medical staff, we are able to provide superior medical services to our community. American Care members are assured access to the highest quality provider network available today. American Care provides exceptional healthcare services with unsurpassed flexibility, customer support and professionalism.
As a patient of our medical centers or a member of our health plans, your experience will result in a healthier and greater sense of well being. Our patients consistently state that they feel that we are part of their family. Whether its a primary care provider or a specialist or one of our many support staff, you will feel a special connection with them.
Unlike many companies who claim to have national networks that are actually a conglomeration of rental agreements, American Care believes that it can best serve the needs of its members and health plans by providing direct access to employed providers in the required service areas. As part of its core business American Care operates its own medical centers and uses its network development expertise to provide access and management for national and regional health plans through customized provider recruitment initiatives in specific geographical areas where the needs are most evident.
American Care has developed a patient care management system called "IPHES" that allows patients and providers access to American Care's medical services information systems. This state-of-the-art technology provides quick, accurate and total patient care management through:
Web-based access by the provider and patients to American Care’s secure patient care systems
Clinical decision making support
HIPAA-compliant Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) via secure Internet connectivity
Web-based Provider Search and other web based services for patients
Telemedicine services for primary care, after hours and specialty care
American Care’s organizational and staff culture is one of constant innovation and process improvement. Healthcare conditions and treatments are constantly evolving and changing, as such American Care as an organization is designed to constantly adapt and provide novel ways to deliver exceptional care.
American Care is dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care and services for our members and patients through a directly operated American Care Provider Network that serves our nation’s under-served communities.
American Care is dedicated to establishing and maintaining meaningful, successful, and long-term relationships with our members, patients, providers and community at large.
American Care upholds the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity. These standards are central to the way that American Care conducts business.
American Care’s aim is not just to comply with applicable laws; we have a commitment to our members, patients, providers and the community at large to do the right thing, because it is right. Adhering to these principles has allowed American Care to grow our business in a sustainable manner.
